Flex Wannabe Nexus Synth | FL Studio 20.1.2 Beta

A video about FL Studio's 20.1.2 beta synth Flex. Flex is a rompler synth that comes with a a lot of quality sounds that have limited customizing options. It reminds me of Refx Nexus or Omnisphere 2 (except Omnisphere allows you to create sounds from scratch). I make a quick and terrible beat with it. The pros are it comes with a lot of sounds. The cons is the lack of organization of the sounds by their proper catagory (example: Arps, leads, pads, etc should have their own catagory for quick searching). Other than that, it's a pretty solid rompler synth with a bit of potential!

You lose all credibility when you include Omnisphere in the same league with Nexus or Flex. Omnisphere is not a rompler. You cannot only create your own sounds, you can also import your own samples and can use several different synth engines on the sound. You cannot do that with either flex or nexus. There are many programs that just do subtractive synthesis which are not considered rompler. In fact you may not even be old enough to know the word you use is a play on words rom player. ROM stands for Read Only Memory player which was considered a sampler that could not import new sounds like a sampler.
